GLOBAL COUNCIL OF ART & CULTURE

With the aim of promoting concept of global culture and to create awareness among the people about traditional culture Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh has established “Global Council of Art and Culture”.

The main aim of GCAC is to co-ordinate different arts and culture. GCAC of ABSS arranges many events every year to give platform to amateur artists to showcase their hidden talent.

ABSS arranges National Art Talent Search program in which artists from different states of India arrive in Pune for this grand festival of performing arts to show their art and to compete with the rest of the nation.

This laudable program is of 10 days starting on 21st May which is World Cultural Diversity Day to 1st June ,International Artist Day. In this national event various dance forms viz. classical, modern contemporary, folk are presented every year. Along with dance different types of vocal and instrumental music is played.

Not only singing and dancing but this competition also consist of multilingual drama section. In this category artists can perform short plays, dramas and mono acts in language they want.

Besides this grand national event ABSS’s GCAC also conducts International Events i.e. Cultural Olympiads to give International Platform to artists. We are proud to say that ABSS GCAC is the first to organize such Cultural Olympiad on international level. ABSS’s GCAC has started Olympiad in 2011 by arranging 1st Global Cultural Olympiad in Bangkok-Thailand.

After grand success of 1st Olympiad, in 2012 Singapore Olympiad and in 2013 Dubai Olympiad were successfully conducted.
