INDIA- LAND OF INDENTITY OF CULTURAL EXPRESSIONS

GLOBAL HARMONY - BHAV RAAG TAAL- 2016- A KEY EVENT SHOWCASING CULTURAL DIVERSITY WITH CONSTANT EXCHANGES & INTERACTION OF CULTURES .                  

Culturalism is the identity of Pune. It has a developed historical tradition of culture.

                It's a need to preserve such heritage of our city. To bring about new change & new

               look of the city under Smart City Campaign , this cultural heritage should  reach the

                next generation  ( Youth) who are strong , energetic, innovating  and who can preserve

               the cultural treasure of the world.- were the words of Hon. Prashant Jagtap- Mayor Pune.

 

Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh's Global Council Of Art & Culture celebrated recently its 12th Golden year of Global Harmony - A National event of Multilingual Drama, Dance, Music Fest./ Contest-2016 .

All the Classical Dances were conducted at Pt. Jawaharlal Sanskrutik Bhavan , Folk/Record Dances along with Drama were conducted at Tilak Smarak Mandir & Vocal /Instrumental at SM Joshi Sabha Gruha, Pune.

For 10 continous days from 9.00am to 12.00pm this mega event was organised. The Grand opening of this extravaganza event was held in the presence of Hon Prashant Jagtap- Mayor Of Pune, Hon. Sushree Ramani Rao - Sr. Kuchipudi Dancer , Hon. Shri. Subrata De and Hon. Sushree Kanchan Laitha .

Total from 18 states 1822 programmes with 6000 artists participated in this event.

                Hon. Sushree Lalitha expressed her feelings at the inauguration of "Nrutya Darshan"-

              "We have many traditional dance art forms. Though the time changes these are art

               should remain as it is without diminshing the originals. New ideas , creation can be

               brought but origin should not be change. "

 

In this  event four age groups were there. Minor-5-8yrs,  Junior- 8-14yrs, Senior- 14 - 22 yrs, Open- 22 and above in dance, vocal, instrument

This year  the Juniors, Seniors and Open category were considered as Youth Category.

 

 

Youth participation is much more than minors. They are essential mediator in finding new ways, techniques of by combining modern and cultural traditional art forms. They create awareness among common people about the traditional culture , different classical, folk art forms by demonstrating  performing different arts on street which is great mediator for social awareness and developing a separate audience of its own.Youth have tremendous leadership qualities through which our cultural art can be transmitted to young people in today's world by organizing workshops, seminars . Even youth can raise awareness in the society for the performing arts and play an vital role of interaction , creativity on local, national & international events. They drive social change & innovation claiming respect for their fundamental  rights.

  The uniqueness about this year event was that on 1st June -Prize distribution Day /Valedictory function , ABSS had kept a 3 Champion ship Award for the Best Group-its Choreography,Max. no. of artists in that respective group, participation in one & more styles, sincerity, discipline and over all performance.

Nirmaladevi Music & Dance Academy -Vishkhapatanam, Maa Sams Dance Academy- Andhra Pradesh  ,  Dakshini Natyalaya  Tamilnadu - won this Championship  award 2016.

           

                   Hon. Sharad Ponkshe- Renowned Film & theatre actor-"Art teach one to live and it

                   also helps to digest the frustration, failure in life. Art is life, we have to study &

                  create this life in a better way. "

 

In the Drama Section- Sutradhar Social Cultural Organisation - Kolkatta, Sreenagar Habra Natya Milan Gosthi- Habra, West bengal, WBSE Creation- Assam and Aakar Foundation- Maharshtra won were the winners. In Dance Drama section- Madhuchhanda Society -Malda ,West Bengal stood first.

ABSS had recieved the Limca Book Of Records for 4500 artsist with 1762 performance in 2008 and this year it has broken its own record by 6000 artists with 1,822 performance.
